Hello Everyone and welcome to The Genuine Curl! First, let me introduce myself. My name is Emily Harris. I am happily married to my handsome husband, who is a ginger, haha and dog mom to my sweet golden doodle. During the day I work full time at my family’s real estate office as a real estate agent/office manager/property manager. On weekends you can find me either working, roaming the aisles at Target, or hitting up a local winery. For awhile now I have wanted to start a blog, so I finally decided to dive head first. Ahhh!
Style in general is something that I thoroughly enjoy. My passion for style really started my senior year of high school. I made a promise to myself that I was going to dress nice/look nice everyday at school. I ended up being nominated for the class superlative as “Best Dressed”, and it really made me feel good about myself. That is my wish for this blog. I hope to help the everyday girl pair stylish and affordable pieces together so that she can feel good about her appearance, and in return boost that self confidence! You don’t have to be a millionaire to look good, so I am here to help! Whether it be finding stylish pieces of clothing, or styling and decorating my home my creative juices get to flowing and I love it!
